True to their pioneering cannabis retail roots, the owners of HERbal Woodstock are dedicated to aiding in the spectrum of human experience through cannabis that expands the mind, nourishes the soul and prioritizes well-being.
Herbal at the Farm
HERbal House lives in a historic cidermill building on the edge of Hepworth Farm. It’s a place shaped by generations of agriculture, sustainability and leading-edge farming practices. While HERbal House operates independently, the surrounding farm environment inspires the brand’s farm‑to‑shelf ethos, natural aesthetic, and deep respect for Hudson Valley cultivation.
OUR STORY
Melissa Gibson and Courtney Beaupre are at the helm of this woman/mother-owned enterprise that is locally rooted, with operational experience and a proven track-record. With over ten years of combined leadership experience in the NY cannabis/hemp cannabinoid market, the owners have a complementary and advantageous set of skills, experiences, acumen and expertise that is unparalleled in such a nascent industry. Their extensive and seasoned backgrounds that couple front-end, profit-producing careers in business development, marketing and entrepreneurship with essential back-end expertise in compliance and adherence to governmental policies and regulations, uniquely and ideally position the owners as early licensees in the New York’s market who will be successful in the Adult-Use Retail space. Well respected in the region as industry pioneers and community-builders with deep relationships up and down the cannabis supply chain, Melissa and Courtney embody the spirit of the NY legalization movement that seeks to lift up and champion small, minority-owned businesses.

We believe cannabis is part of a larger ecosystem. It belongs alongside the soil, the sun, the seasons, and the generations of knowledge passed down through agriculture.
